Each blend has been carefully designed with essential oil safety in mind by a clinical aromatherapist Aromatherapy With Sarah (DIP), with guidance from Tisserand, R., & Young, R. (2014). Base Chakra

Australian Sandalwood essential oil : Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 532).

Organic Frankincense essential oil : No contradictions (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 288) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 310).

Organic Black Spruce essential oil : Hazards : Skin sensitisation if oxidised. (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 429) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 547).

Organic Ginger essential oil : No contradictions. (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 295). Considered non- toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising (Battaglia, 2017, p. 332).

Sacral Chakra

Ho Wood (Linalool ct.) essential oil : Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 338). No Contradictions Known - This oil has been rectified to remove safrole (carcinogen), making it smell better and making it safer (Plant Therapy).

Sweet Orange essential oil : Hazards : Skin sensitisation if oxidised, (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 372) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 452).

Jasmine essential oil : Moderate risk of skin sensitisation. Max dermal level 0.7% (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 312) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and sensitisation can occur in some people (Battaglia, 2017, p. 348).

Ylang Ylang essential oil : Moderate risk of skin sensitisation. Cautions: hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin , children under 2 years of age. Maximum dermal level 0.8% (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 477). Considered non-toxic and non-sensitising. Excessive use may cause headaches. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 604).

Solar Plexus Chakra

Organic Lemon (distilled) essential oil : No contradictions. Max dermal use level 20% (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 330) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and sensitisation can occur in some people (Battaglia, 2017, p. 382).

Tangerine essential oil : Hazards : Skin sensitisation if oxidised, (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 437) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 552).

Jasmine essential oil : Moderate risk of skin sensitisation. Max dermal level 0.7% (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 312) . Considered non-toxic, non-irritant and sensitisation can occur in some people (Battaglia, 2017, p. 348).

Bergamot essential oil : (bergapten free): This oil is bergapten free Bergamot, which means it is safe for use in the sun but as a precaution adding may be phototoxic. Recommended dermal 0.4% dilution. No contradictions. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 172).

Throat Chakra

Frankincense essential oil : No contradictions (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 288) . Considered non- toxic, non-irritant and non-sensitising. (Battaglia, 2017, p. 310).

May Chang essential oil : To avoid the risk of various safety issues, we recommend a maximum dilution of 0.8% for topical applications. Possible drug interactions. Do not ingest. (Plant Therapy Website). Cautions: hypersensitive, diseased or damaged skin , children under 2 years of age. Maximum dermal level 0.8% (Tisserand & Young, 2014, p. 349). The heart is my favourite chakra roller out of them all. They all smell divine though. The recent heart chakra blend I got, smells slightly different to my previous one. However it still smells lovely. I wear it every day to connect with my heart space and to help me be more present from the heart.
