Sacred Conch Shell
Our sacred conch shells are sustainably sourced from the West Indies. These shells have a long history as spiritual symbols within many cultures and religions. They were considered as rare gifts from the ocean and are pictured in the hands of many Hindu Gods. The spiral formation inside the shell was associated with infinity and the beginning of existence. In Buddhism the conch shell's call is meant to awaken one from ignorance and is a sign of victory over suffering. It is also one of the most ancient musical instruments and was used both during joyous ceremonies and to initiate or warn of impending battles.
